General Appearance: Gwenavere could easily pass as a vampire, but alas, she is not. She stands at a comfortable five-foot, six-inches from the ground when she is barefoot, which is more often than not. Her clothing style persists of whatever she has in her closet; nothing ever matches, except her shoes, when she does wear them.
~Stand My Ground~
Personality: Gwenavere is a quiet girl, in general. She has always been quiet; it's simply her nature. However, what goes on in the silence is what really makes up the girl. Her mind is always whirling with one idea or another. Her fascinations consist of numerous things - Art, Chemistry, Spellwork - just to name a few. Often, you'll find her with her nose in a book or her slender fingers wrapped around a quill as she pens the latest of her ideas. Never has she been affraid to stand up for what she believes, and never has she backed down from a fight of any kind, intelectual or physical.
~The End of Every Story~
History: Born in the middle of July, Gwenavere Alyce Belafore was the first born to Maria and Charles Belafore. It was an answer to their prayers. She, of course, was spoiled to every extent of the word, but never did she take anything for granted. She'd heard the stories from her grandfather's time, and ho wmuch he had struggled for what he owned, and it had embeded morals deep within her soul.
When her younger sister, Rhiannon, was born, Gwen was eager to help teach the young girl everything she could. Of course, two-year-olds aren't the best of teachers, so she mostly stayed out of the nursery, as she quite often work the infant from her much-needed rest.
Her years of Hogwarts were a blur to her. She was always the top in her class, and had not been surprised when she was not selected for Head Girl. Of course, her grades were acedemic marvels, but ... her lack of extra-curricular activities was what concerned her professors, as wel as her parents, the most. The only thing she had ever been seen doing was reading or writing, never trying any sports, or dating any boys. Besides, most of the boys in her year steered clear of her. So, when lack of 'material' came to be the situation, Alyce's eyes fell on her favourite professor - Professor Severus Snape.
How she longed for him to notice her efforts in his classes, and of course, he noted her prgress and astounding work, (for a Ravenclaw, is how he always put it), but never did he comment on her physical form, as she wished for him to do. On her graduation day, she somberly accepted her diploma, and left the castle as soon as she was permitted, hoping never to see his face again, for she knew it would tug at her heart tremendously.
However, fate would not let that be, and she soon found herself following who she knew to be Death Eaters around on their missions, taking pages and pages of notes on each trip. Of course, they soon shook her off their trail, and Gwen had to find new ways of getting missions. The witch decided it was best to simply ask the one who was giving the direct orders.
Here is were her past and her future merge to make a hazy present.
~On My Way~
RP Sample: Gabrielle Ivy was quite content with his job, so, knowing that he would most likely be in his position for quite some while, he decided to go around an introduce himself to the rest of the professors that were scattered about the campus. He'd already been acquainted with Severus Snape, so he thought it best to simply avoid the sour man entirely. After all, he wasn't in the mood to have his happy-medium ruined.
The wizard followed the map he'd made in his mind many years before up to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom with ease, his hands clasped behind his back and his eyes closed. never did he miss a step on the stairs, never did he stumble into a wall. He'd been through these corridors too much over the years to even begin to forget where everything was. Besides, he needed to be as inconspicuous as possible.
Gabe found the doorknob to the classroom he was looking for, and his eyes snapped open. No matter how well he knew the hallways, each teacher had their own way of arraning the desks in their classroom, and he wasn't about to trip over some hunk of wood. Easily meandering between the large wooden work areas, the wizard was at the office door in a matter of seconds. He took a deep breath and placed his signature smile on his face before opening the door and walking through, completely unannonced. His gaze landed on an empty chair at the front of the professor's desk, and his feet hastily carried him to it. With a sigh, he settled down in the seat and smiled at the woman before him before crossing his legs and making himself comfortable. "Hello."
