Since leaving home a matter of months ago Isabel had only written back to her parents a few times but her trip over Christmas had been quite a pick me up. Blood purity wasn't that big of a deal in Amercia it wasn't a big deal with her family it wasn't like any of them cared. They were all muggles after all, her brothers were too busy running their rum business her mother was making sure her father didn't do anything too bad and stayed around... and her father was just sitting back watching it all.
"I miss you." She sighed closing the letter that she was going to send to her younger brother Henry. Even after being back a few day sthing never got any easier. So much had changed here since she'd come back. Voldomort was in charge Snape was in charge of Hogwarts things just wern't right.

Destrane made his way along the quiet path, his pace slow yet steady. Black robes flowed around his lithe form. His expression was blank, no emotion to be seen. That was how it always was with him. His distaste of anything bearing weakness was well known by all. As he made his way towards one of the small cafes, the boy noticed one of the Hogwarts Professors. Well then, time for some fun, he thought wickedly, his unique, wicked smile appearing on his lips.
He walked over to her table, casual and slow, his eyes alight with an unknown fire. "Professor Duque," he greeted, voice like velvet, deadly and dark yet alluring at the same time. His emerald eyes focused on her face, his arms folding across his chest.

"Mr Savien." She folded the letter quickly putting it into her bag. Lord being back felt so different this time around since Snape was Headmaster. "I take it Professor McGonagall finally let you out of detention for once." Though she admired Minerva very much Isabel thought the woman was a little harsh... even if they all knew who this boy's father was.

If her words bothered him in any way, he didn't show it. Destrane casually took a seat next to her, uncaring if he was imposing on her space. His wand was out and boy was apparently examining it.
Instead of answering her, he tilted his head and smirked at her. "How was your vacation, Professor? I hope you enjoyed yourself before having to come back here and teach the little children."

"It was fine." Isa had always felt a little uncomfortable talking to students about her personal life. "Just fine." Considering she had class tonight she knew she should have been at Hogwarts in bed so she could sleep for just a little while at the very least. She couldn't believe how much things had changed in the last few weeks since she'd been away, none of the students knew of her blood but once they found out if they found out this was going to be hell.

Destrane looked at her impassively, thinking. "If I recall correctly, I've never heard of your family name until now, Professor. Could you explain to me where you come from? Surely its not a pureblood name from England," his eyes glinted cruelly as he looked her up and down. The boy was nasty to everyone, but even worse to those unworthy of the positions they held.

"Of course not Mr. Savien I'm Cuban not English." Just how dim were some of the kides that went to this school? She didn't look the least bit English with her dark hair and dark skin Isabel had always looked 100% Latin. She was half Cuban half Puerto Rican and looked it every bit. "Surely Professor Snape sent word to your father about that he wouldn't want any muggle borns working at Hogwarts."

Destrane snorted. "I know you aren't English, but you have grown up here," he assessed her appearance with a well-trained eye. "I'm curious, it seems as though none of your...family, has ever come here," he looked calm and relaxed at this point. "Is there a specific reason for that? Apparation is allowed into Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. They could easily come any time." He leered at her.

"No I didn't. I grew up in the US if you must know. My grandmother is the reason I came here she didn't want me to go to the Salem Witch Academy. My brothers are busy with their work and my parents are trying to keep them from killing one another. They know Apparition is allowed into Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade."

The Slytherin Prefect didn't look convinced. He would have to look further into her records, he knew Snape would have no choice but to let him. "Fine then," he glanced around.
"It's a pity that I dropped your class, you are fun to talk to," his eyes flared as he looked at her, almost as if undressing her with his eyes alone. Of course, he wouldn't do anything while he had Helena, but he didn't have to tell anyone else that.

"Pitty." She almost rolled her eyes shifting in her chair as his eyes flared. IF ther was ever a student she was happy she never had to see again in class it was Destrane Savien. He remined her of Alex too much, he was the Dark Lord's son not to mention other things. "Not that I can see your father thinking you needed Astromey too much..."

Destrane chuckled. It was a dark sound that held no mirth whatsoever. He slid closer to her, glancing around casually. The tall boy glanced at her again, his eyes raking over her body.
"Those robes look uncomfortable," he muttered, slyly, smirking.

"Not to mention the fact you're a student and even if I WAS interested I'm engaged Mr. Savien." Isabel glared her eyes narrowing at the boy, "I'm going back to America at the end of the year and I'm going to get married, you're not even of age either. So you can stop making advances."

Destrane laughed wickedly, reaching over to slide his long fingers around her throat in a warning. "One, I'm engaged, two, I most likely wouldn't give a care, and three...who would stop me?" He leaned over her as he stood, kissing her hard on the lips before backing up, looking at her as though he hadn't just did that.

"I hope you realize I could have you expelled for that!" She swallowed her mother had been right she shouldn't have come back. "Your father wouldn't take kindly to you kissing your teachers espeically ones engaged to muggle borns!"
